Old Rauma

Vanha Rauma is an old wooden house district located in Rauma. It is the largest, most unified and best-preserved old wooden town area in the Nordic countries. Old Rauma was selected for UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1991.


Kitukränn

Kitukränn is Finland's narrowest street in Vanha Rauma. The alley connecting Kuninkaankatu and Kauppakatu is only 213 cm wide. It is about 60 meters long. Driving a motor vehicle is prohibited on Kitukränni.


Sea Museum

The Rauma Sea Museum is a museum in Rauma operated by the Rauma Sea Museum Foundation. The museum was opened in 2004 in Rauma's old maritime school, which was completed in 1900 on Kalliokatu.

Home Museum Marela

Marela is a home museum located in Vanha Rauma. The museum presenting the home of the ship owner Gabriel Granlund's family operates in his home named Marela, which was built in 1825.

Home Museum Kirsti

Kirsti is the home museum of sailors and craftsmen. The museum presents living in Old Rauma from the end of the 19th century to the 1970s. Kirsti's main building is one of the oldest buildings in Old Rauma. It was built already in the 18th century. At the beginning of the 19th century, the entire city of Rauma looked the same as Kirsti still does today.

Water Tower

The Rauma water tower is located near the residential area of ​​Nummi, on a water tower hill 30 meters above sea level. The water tower has an observation deck and a restaurant 66.5 meters above sea level.
